We are hiring contract therapists at this time (in person and teletherapy)

Outlook Counseling Services, PLLC is a well-respected, growing, established private practice. Our practice is focused on delivering trauma and culturally informed care to the community. We pride ourselves in building a collaborative relationship with our clients, and in providing evidence-based treatments to ensure they can overcome the obstacles they are facing in their lives.

We are currently accepting applications for mental health therapists wanting to join our team on a part-time/full-time, contract status. A minimum of 10 hours is required with an opportunity to graduate into a full-time position.

The full-time/Part-time position requires availability on Saturdays and evenings during the week:

Candidates must:

  • Have a strong interest in working with clients through a holistic, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed lens-
  • Be licensed in Illinois (LCSW, LSW, LCPC, LPC, LMFT - (Pre-licensed candidates will be considered based on completion of clinical hours and experience)
  • Availability on Saturdays and evenings during the week
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in the mental health field
  • Have professional liability insurance
  • Attend needed training requested for professional development by Outlook Counseling Services, LLC
  • Be responsible and complete all paperwork (intakes, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge notes) promptly
  • Be able to connect with clients and respond to phone calls, emails, scheduling issues, questions, and concerns in a respectful and timely manner
  • Be consistent with work responsibilities and be on time for scheduled appointments
  • Value active participation in individual and group supervision/consults
  • Be paneled or agree to be paneled with insurance
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and value a collaborative work environment. We are looking for candidates who are invested in the success of their clients and their coworkers

Preference will be given to candidates who are trauma-informed, bilingual English/Spanish-speaking therapists

Training may include:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
  • Mindfulness
  • or other Evidence-Based interventions.
