Founder and Trauma-Informed Psychotherapist
I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I was born in Chicago, Illinois, but grew up in Mexico City. I speak Spanish fluently, and I am bicultural (Mexican/American). I understand that different cultural dynamics can affect a therapeutic relationship; therefore, I am mindful of the importance of providing non-judgmental therapy.
I have a master’s degree in clinical social work from the highly ranked Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I take a holistic, caring, and individualized approach to therapy by actively listening to you and constructively engaging with you to overcome any obstacles that may be preventing you from achieving what you seek for yourself as an individual.
I am a trauma-sensitive, holistic, integrative psychotherapist with years of experience providing trauma-informed care in the United States and in Mexico. I am trained in different therapeutic modalities, with a concentration in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Humanistic Therapy, including Gestalt and Person-Centered.
